As a small business owner myself, I found out that a nearby competitor was seeing consistent business from the internet while I didn’t even have a website.

So I put up a website and waited for the phone to ring.

Nothing happened.

I decided to start looking at it objectively. If someone wanted my type of service, what would they type in? So I tried every combination of words and phrases that I could think of and found that my site didn’t even show up on the first few pages. My site didn’t show up on the first ten pages!

So I hired an “SEO expert” and waited for the phone to ring.

Still nothing happened.

That’s when I really started to take action. I wanted to know how to do it myself. What was it going to take to make it all work?

I got online, read every ebook, special report and forum post I could find on the subject. There seemed to be a lot of conflicting information, so I just kept trying things until my site got onto the first page of the search engines.

Then the phone started to ring.

Turns out that if you’re not on that first page, you’re missing out on most (if not all) of the available traffic for your business. It’s that important.

After business associates in other States found out of my success, they began asking for my help. One by one, I saw all of their rankings improve and their business increase.
